Election Day and senior citizen’s concerns.
While immigration, gun safety, international affairs, and other hot topics continue to gather much attention from the press and media; health care in America continues to be the number one concern of many Americans, especially seniors. Medicare and Medicaid continue to be issues being hotly contested in this mid-term election.
What can we do? We can exercise our right to vote and let our voices be heard! Let’s get past the ugliness of the campaign advertisements and all the infighting, and let’s vote for the candidates who will best represent us and help our country the most. It is not only our right as citizens to vote, but it is our duty as Americans to help select the best person to govern us. That person may be a Republican or a Democrat. Where is their heart? Is it serving their own desires and agenda, or is it to serve the ones who elected them?
